From Cotton Cottage to Your Cottage
Summer is here. The weather is hot and so are the savings. Check out the new fabrics on clearance and get started on those flannel and brushed cotton quilts. Flannel and brushed cotton will be $1.00 off each yard through July. Rag quilts are still hot and so easy to make. Come by for suggestions an to sign up for a class. We offer classes on Tuesday though Saturday at your convenience. It only takes two to make a class. We prefer no more than 4. That way we can help you and you learn more faster and accomplish more on your project.
Another great idea is to learn a new technique on a baby quilt. Most of us have need for those often and they work up so fast and easy. It is a wonderful way to try a technique without dedicating a lot of time and money to something you aren't sure is your thing. As us about patterns and suggestions.
Times are tough for all of us and we have to work together to make it through. Using stash fabrics along with a few new ones to brighten or refresh is a great way to economize. Your support of your favorite quilt shop will keep us all quilting for the future. If you know someone who would like to learn to quilt, suggest a class and let us know. We would love to cultivate new talent in the art that we love.
Lots of new or new to you patterns are available. Ask our staff for suggestions to use your fabric, utilize a specail technique or just an idea for a fun project. We are here to help and love doing it. Keep on sewing and quilting.
